April will showcase the work of artists in our community during the annual community show ?Environment.? This juried exhibition will take place April 3 ? April 26, 2025. A free Opening Reception will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5:00 pm ? 7:30 pm during which awards will be announced for Best of Show, People?s Choice, 2D Merit, 3D Merit and the Sequoia Riverlands Trust Art+Image Merit Award. This year will feature the guest juror Aaron Collins of Sequoia Riverlands Trust. There will be a free presentation on environmental conservation and art on Saturday, April 5 at 2:00 pm. April will also feature Sequoia High School. Sequoia High School gives students a chance to be a part of the community by showcasing select student works. Visit Arts Visalia this May to see the paintings of Adam Longatti and Austin Mckinzie. Both Longatti and Mckinzie have dedicated their artistic careers to interpreting the Central Valley landscape and frequently paint on site together to create individualized interpretations of local landscapes. This exhibition will take place from May 1 ? 31, 2025. A free Opening Reception will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025. A free Artist Talk will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
