Kids Club Lead Teacher Must
  • engage children in stimulating enrichment activities
  • evaluate student progress
  • interact with students, parents, and supervisor for the purpose of communicating educational objectives for students
  • maintain effective group and individual behavior
  • participate in staff training workshops
  • perform record keeping and clerical duties
  • present instructional materials in conjunction with the instructional plan for the purpose of providing direct or small group instruction to support student learning
  • provide students with homework and tutoring assistance
  • supervise students
  • work with classroom management techniques

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develops and delivers effective lesson plans
  • Provide homework and tutoring assistance
  • Engages children in stimulating enrichment activities
  • Maintains classroom discipline
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with students, parents, and teachers
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Coordinates with other Kids Club employees in planning
  • Assists with the supervision and distribution of snack
  • Participates in staff training workshops
  • The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, sitting, standing, kneeling, stooping, crouching and/or crawling, pushing and/or pulling. Certifications and Licenses
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be CPR/First Aid Certified or complete a class provided by the district within 60 days of employment.
  • Must have TB Clearance
