About Us

Kaweah Health has been meeting the health needs of Central California residents since 1963, serving the community through education, research, and patient care. During this time, Kaweah Health has grown, becoming a certified level III trauma center and one of Central California’s most integrated healthcare systems. Kaweah Health provides expert care with more than 700 medical staff and 5,000 employees, all specially trained and experienced to care for diverse patient needs. The multi-campus healthcare system contains 613 licensed inpatient beds, offering comprehensive services including cancer treatment; a renowned NICU; mental health services; urology, cardiac, neuro, orthopedic and general surgery; family medicine; physical therapy; and more. A graduate medical education residency program features six specialties and a growing number of fellowships, helping to recruit and keep new doctors in the community.
